Hello. The library hopes all of you have family and friends surrounding you over this season. The time of thanks is upon us and soon will be Christmas. The library has plenty of ideas for those wonderful homemade crafts and goodies within our Christmas selection of books. We also have a wonderful section of craft and cookbooks for those young folks who want to give from their heart.
The best present of all is a library card! The Bollinger County Library is open to the entire county. At times we have folks that stop by and ask if they can get a library card because they are outside Marble Hill city limits. The answer has always been an astounding yes. The next question is price which has always been FREE. The next time you hear a conversation with those questions feel free to jump in and say yes you can get a library card and it is free! We also run into people that have not been here for years since their kids are grown. We offer so much to all patrons such as new released novels, subscription magazines, an enhanced genealogy section, DVD’s, VHS’s and thousands of audio books.
Children can grow up alongside of the library watching the technology grow, new books coming in weekly and programs for all ages. A library card is the key to it all. Children can be put on their parents account and still have their very own card to put in their pocket. We hope all will consider this option for one of the most valuable gift of the season.
